What kind of facility is CASE Shinjuku?

CASE Shinjuku is a coworking space and shared office in the Shinjuku area. From drop-in use to monthly contracts, it can be used for a wide range of purposes, including teleworking, studying, and meetings. It features a quiet environment where you can concentrate and stable, high-speed Wi-Fi.

What is the difference between a coworking space and a shared office?
A

Coworking spaces are shared workspaces that can be used by the hour or day. Shared offices are office spaces where you have dedicated or semi-dedicated seating on a monthly contract. CASE Shinjuku offers both.

Can I talk by phone or web conference?
A

Yes, it’s OK.
When making calls or participating in web conferences, please be considerate of the tone and volume of your voice.
Also, if you are participating in a web conference, please be sure to use earphones.
Earphones are available to borrow free of charge, so please ask at the reception desk.

Can we hold meetings in the coworking space?
A

Yes, you can. Please feel free to use it for meetings, team development projects, and more.

Do I need to take off my shoes before entering the room?
A

Shoes are strictly prohibited in this facility (the flooring is solid wood and feels comfortable even barefoot). Slippers are also available for purchase at 100 yen each.

Can I use the space late at night or early in the morning?
A

Business hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Use of the coworking space is limited to these hours. Monthly members have 24-hour access to the fully secured shared office.

Is there a free drink?
A

A water dispenser is available. Feel free to choose from coffee, tea, miso soup, ume-kombu tea, and various types of tea bags.

You can also enjoy CASE’s original blend coffee for just 50 yen!

Is it okay to bring in drinks and food? Also, is food and drink available for purchase?
A

You may purchase your own food and beverages and bring them in.

Do you have a charger for my laptop?
A

We have chargers for Mac and Windows devices. If you need one, please ask at the front desk.

Please note that we may not carry all types of chargers. If you wish to confirm availability, please contact us by email.

Can I leave during coworking hours?
A

Short outings such as going out for lunch or visiting a convenience store are permitted without restriction. For extended outings, please make payment once.

Is there a convenience store nearby?
A

There is a Lawson convenience store on the first floor of the building across the street.
There is an Aeon Mart called Peacock on the first floor of the building next door.
Additionally, within a 3-minute walk, there are a 7-Eleven, a FamilyMart, and a Don Quijote.

A shared office available 24 hours a day. We offer shared desks (hot desks) where you can move freely, or private booths where you can store your luggage.

Can I see inside the shared office?
A

Yes, it is possible.
Viewings during business hours are possible without an appointment.

How long does it take to start using the shared office after applying?
A

We conduct reviews after receiving your documents and conducting an interview. We will notify you of your eligibility within approximately one week.
*Please note that we may decline your application based on the review results. In such cases, we do not provide details regarding our review criteria.
When introducing CASE Shinjuku members, please inform them of this policy.

How many people can use the private office?
A

Up to 4 members can be registered within the usage fee.
For 5 or more members, an additional fee of ¥11,000 per person applies for registration.
※ Membership registration grants access to all spaces: private offices, shared offices, and coworking areas.
※ Non-members are welcome to visit private offices freely (when the member is present).

Can I use the meeting room?
A

Two rooms (one for 4 people and one for 6 people) are available.
Only members are allowed to use these rooms. (Drop-ins are not accepted.)

How is the access from the airport?
A
  • From Narita Airport
    • Take the Keisei Skyliner to Nippori Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Takadanobaba => 1 hour 15 minutes
    • Take the Airport Bus and get off at Tokyo Station Nihonbashi Exit. Transfer to the Tozai Line at Otemachi and ride to Takadanobaba => 1 hour 50 minutes
  • From Haneda Airport:
    • Take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Takadanobaba Station => 55 minutes
    • Take the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Takadanobaba Station => 50 minutes
    • Take the limousine bus to Shinjuku Station West Exit, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Takadanobaba Station => 1 hour 5 minutes
    • By taxi: approximately 1 hour

Can I use the coworking space for a group?
A

It is possible for multiple people to use the facility. However, please note that reservations are not possible. If you would like to inquire about seating availability, please call us and we will be happy to answer. Alternatively, you can come in person and use the facility if a seat becomes available.

A

At CASE Shinjuku, you can pay with AirPAY-compatible credit cards, electronic transportation money, and other electronic money.
