Hello everyone! This is Yuka, CASE Shinjuku staff.
If you’re a digital nomad and find it difficult to find good places to work in Tokyo, I hope you’ll read this blog and consider visiting here!
First, we offer both a coworking space and a shared office.
The coworking space is open from 10 AM to 6 PM, and we are closed on Sundays and national holidays.
The usage fee is ¥500 per hour, or ¥2,000 for a whole day.
It is mainly used by drop-in users.
On the other hand, the shared office is available 24/7, and is available only to monthly members.(More details are available in the PDF.)
In this blog, I’ll mainly introduce our shared office, which you can use if you become a monthly member.
Shared Office Available 24 Hours a Day
If you work with people and clients from other countries, you sometimes need to adjust the timing of online meetings or live chats to accommodate different time zones.
At those times, if the office is closed, you’ll have to work from your hotel or other places.
But our shared office is available 24/7, so even if you have online meetings at midnight or early in the morning, it’s possible to have them!
In our shared office, it’s very quiet, so you’ll be able to concentrate on your work.
We also have Herman Miller chairs, which provide great support for your back and hips—even if you sit for a long time.
Of course, we have multiple monitors, so you won’t have to strain your eyes to read small text, code, or design details on your screen.
The building where our office is located closes from 11pm to 7am, so during these hours, you can leave, but you won’t be able to come back in. Please keep this in mind when using our shared office.

In shared office, there are 2 meeting rooms: a large one for about 6 people and a small one for about 4 people. So, if you want to have an online meeting with no one around, I recommend using the meeting rooms.
If you become a hot desk monthly member, you can use the meeting rooms for up to 5 hours per month for free. Fixed desk members can use them for up to 10 hours per month for free.

You Can Have Online Meetings at Any Seats in Coworking Space
Of course, monthly members can use the coworking space.
During coworking space opening hours, we ask that you hold your online meetings there.(or meeting rooms)
Although we don’t have phone booths, you’re free to talk anywhere in the coworking space. Instrumental background music is played, creating a relaxed atmosphere. You can not only have online meetings, but also meet with guests in person at any seat.
After the coworking space closes, you can still use the shared desks for online meetings—even if they go on for a while.
The coworking space is very open and airy, making it easy to relax and feel comfortable.

High Speed Wi-Fi
We put effort into providing Wi-Fi so that you can use the internet comfortably.
Our Wi-Fi is known for its high speed, so you don’t need to worry about the internet speed here!

English-friendly environment
Some of our staff speak English, and we make efforts to improve our English every day. So if you’re not confident in Japanese, you don’t need to worry about communication!
When you visit for the first time, we’ll explain how to use the space in English. Additionally, if you become a monthly member, we’ll provide further explanations.

There are explanation boards in English, such as on the fridge, on the meeting room doors, and so on. So even if there are no staff after the coworking space closes, you’ll be able to use the space comfortably.

Easy Access
You can reach our office from the nearest station, Takadanobaba Station, in about 1 minute on foot.

With alcohol, soft drinks, some snacks and sweets, we chat together. The topics of conversation are open to anything.
If you want to share something, you can talk about it with others.
