The only drink that costs extra is coffee from our De’Longhi coffee machine, which is just ¥50 per cup. And guess what? We’ve switched the coffee beans in the machine to our very own CASE Shinjuku Original Coffee Blend!

How Was Our Original Coffee Born?
In 2024, we celebrated our 10th anniversary with a party for our members, their families, friends, and more!
We wanted to do something special with the number 10, and we finally came up with the idea of hosting a 10-hour party. Haha!
Over the course of 10 hours, we enjoyed lunch, snacks, and dinner. At each mealtime, we served delicious food and drinks from local shops in Takadanobaba and Waseda.
For lunch, we served Waseda Oosumi Blend Coffee from Kohaze Coffee. It was a big hit with the party guests!
We told Mr. Tanikawa, the owner of Kohaze Coffee, that the Oosumi Blend Coffee was a big hit at the party. During our conversation, we came up with the idea of creating a special original coffee blend for CASE Shinjuku!
And that’s how the CASE Shinjuku Original Blend Coffee project began!
Collabration with Kohaze Coffee
Kohaze Coffee is located near Waseda University’s Waseda Campus, on Oosumi Dori shopping street.
At the shop, you can order your favorite coffee blend, made from a selection of around 30 different types of green coffee beans.
We’ve also published articles about Kohaze Coffee in Takadanobaba Economic Newspaper, a local news website. The articles cover topics such as the opening of the shop and the installation of its coffee roaster.

How Was the CASE Shinjuku Original Coffee Made?
Mr. Tanikawa suggested three coffee blends with flavors similar to Waseda Osumi Blend, which had been a big hit with our members at our 10th anniversary party.
We tasted the three blends with some of our members who are passionate about coffee. We hadn’t expected everyone to have such different opinions! So, we gathered their feedback and shared it with Mr. Tanikawa.
Based on their feedback, he then suggested four more blends for us to try. We tasted them again and, after much discussion, finally chose our favorite.
And that’s how the CASE Shinjuku Original Blend Coffee was born!

One cup is 50yen. You can enjoy freshly ground coffee from De’Longhi machine.

You can purchase our original coffee beans to enjoy at home. You can also have them ground to your preferred coarseness.
Price: ¥750 per 100g
※ Members can purchase our coffee beans at a special monthly member price!
If you’d like to grind the beans yourself, you can use our Fuji Coffee Mirukko coffee mill.
